OMMP 1 hour Introduction to the Course

This course is about the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program: what conditions the law covers, and how patients are currently using Cannabis in both smoked and non-smoked methods of ingestion.  This course gives a basic foundation into the appropriate application of Cannabis as medicine. This introduction gives a patient’s perspective of the program.

OMMP 1 hour Access, Support Systems and Resources

OMMP 1 hour Opportunities for Study

Open discussion of the opportunities for study of medical marijuana, from botanical mapping of cannabinoid profiles and their applications to disease and symptom specific application and data collection of patient outcomes.

 

End of Course

The above course is designed to give medical students a basic background on into medical Cannabis and its applications before entering a clinical situation.  In my view it would be perfect training before beginning a 2-week clinical rotation on medical marijuana patients, to include taking medical history and doing surveys of patients.
